Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will the website replace the bulletin
board?
A: No. The bulletin board will still remain the principal means
of communications between the Social Committee and the residents of the
Patrician. The main role of this site will be to display back
issues of the newsletter, photos, and the complete social calendar.
Q: Can people outside of the Patrician view
this site?
A: Yes. However, the first page of our site is not a home page.
The home page is the personal site of Robert Schuldenfrei
(www.s-i-inc.com). This does not mean that search engines can't
find the SocComm site, but it is not really all that visible. And,
nothing of a sensitive nature will be placed on the site. Thus, no
e.mail addresses will ever be posted on this page.
Q: What does "Free" really mean when applied
to the barbeques?
A: "Free" means that there is no SocComm charge. Unlike one of our
dinners where there is typically a $40.00 per head fee, a free barbeque
means that you bring your own food and drink. Having said that,
participants usually bring extra food and share it with others attending
the barbeque.
